Chili Cook-Off

Cook a pot of your favorite chili recipe to enter in the TechFest Chili Cook-off.

Recent chili’s, have been:

Traditional, wild game, white chili, vegetarian, and more. Show us your best!

The only hard-fast rule is: You must make your chili yourself. No commercial chili’s.

 

New for 2026: PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD

Invite all your friends to join us and to vote for your chili.

How many votes can you get?

This is the fundraiser part of the event and votes are $1 each.

 

How it works:

1. Bring your award-winning chili in a hot crock-pot by 9:00am and give it to the food staff to log it in.
2. A panel of judges will begin sampling by 10:30am to pick three winners.
3. Winning cooks’ pictures will be in the February GARzette and on this website with bragging rights for a year!
4. All chili’s will be then available for all TechFest attendees to sample during lunch, and to choose the People’s Choice Best Chili.
